Reflections of My Perceptions

A NEW WORLD

Tonight… tonight, you look positively scrumptious
And usually my eyes are prone to wander
But tonight… tonight my eyes can't help but look at you longer
For the sight of your flesh fills them with an insatiable hunger
And usually I do not like to play the role of the hunter
But tonight… tonight, I had to ask you for your name and number
Because this is an opportunity not to be squandered
And this is a matter not to be pondered
For my mind has already disrobed your ensemble
And I have determined that your breasts need to be fondled
And though you may suspect I am a Big Mac
You give me the shakes, and I have been clowned like Ronald
So girls like you, I usually duck like Donald
But for some reason I cannot allow my feelings to slumber
So I am coming out my shell like Cowabunga!
But don't expect Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello or Raphael
And please don't think that my intentions are merely to exploit and plunder
As tonight, I ask if I can be your Christopher Columbus

Because right now, at this very moment, I feel as if I am in a new world
And I know you have already been discovered, others have come before,
But tonight if you allow me more fully explore your core, tomorrow morning,
You will feel like a new girl
For I will stir up urgings, beneath your surface, causing your Indian ocean to swirl
As I dive into the depths of your South China Sea in search of your immaculate pearl
But I am getting way ahead of myself, and geographically speaking,
I am on the wrong side of the world
For I will first have to melt the ice of your Canada Dry
But before I declare war upon your walls until your Niagara Falls, I will pause
Then I will turn my attention 95 degrees due south
As my sex drive takes you on a joy ride inter a state of screams and shouts
So your Appalachian Mountains will be reached by mouth
And as I enjoy the view, my fingers will be then become my scouts
And your reaction to their touch will determine my tongue's route
And its purpose will be to bring about an end to your years of drought

So as your heart thunders like stampeding buffalo heard across the Great Plains
I will go to great pains to ensure that when your Mount St. Helens blows, it will produce great flames
But I will first have to get my Bering Strait
So I can put you into a golden state of mind by establishing a mental bridge
In order for you to feel safe about opening your golden gate
And it would be San Andreas' fault should the earth quake
As your bed shakes, but I will be careful not raise your birth rate
So my scouts will depart your redwood forest towards your grand canyon
And as my Washington Monument is standing tall,
Sticking out like the Florida Peninsula, just prior to our getting intimate,
I will make sure that it is insular
Just in case, in my haste, I forget that I may be actually entering Death Valley

But certainly, you have to be one of the finest peaches from Georgia,
Now you're bringing your sunshine to Florida, orange ya?
All shined up and polished like a chocolate-coated candy apple New Yorker
Reminding me of a Christi Corpus, a Texas scorcher
Taking me back to Iraq, in August
And yes, I am a beach boy, but I don't wish you were from California
But I am definitely in pursuit of warmer waters
My Plymouth Rock harder than that of Gibraltar
I am ready to board your May Flower as I turn my attention south of the border
But not with an intention to ravage and slaughter
But I am prepared to do so if you should so order

And like a Spanish Conquistador I will kiss you more
As I feast upon your passion fruit which I so adore
It's like I am Ponce De Leon and you are my fountain of youth
So now I feel as if I too am twenty-two
