From everything being hunky dory,
I am now in the bowels of Hellfire!
I don't know what to do, were to turn!
My backs against the wall, and in the fire!
I don't want to turn away you know!
All I want is for Him to cut me some slack!
But I think myself, the thing is this;
He wants the wall always to be at my back!!
Cos that's where I am just now!
With my back against the wall!
And why is that you ask yourself?
Well let's face it, it's anyone's call!
My head is spinning round and round;
Cos my pain is most gratefully out of sight!
And once again, in my darkened room!
I'll be shouting Him in the pale moonlight!
Please Dear God, please hear me!
I am begging of you this night!
Help me to accept and understand!
The reason for my entire plight!!
It's been a hard, hard week you know!
I bet many wouldn't survive it like me!
But I am floundering, oh, but I am!
In the great, vast, foreboding sea!!!
