That first christmas way back in time,
where did that feeling go?
It is Christ's birthday we celebrate,
but you'd never know.
Jesus said love one another,
this was his one request.
Throw down your weapon&hold out your hand,
let thine enemy be your christmas guest.
Feuding is not the answer,
it's not the way of our king.
We were created in his image,
so we must let our hearts sing.
But don't let it end on christmas day,
keep it all year through.
Let compassion rule your heart,
and don't let bitterness get the best of you!
