Promise Amongst Cool Cats
Where's has the time gone
my beautiful friends?
weren't we just washing
our cars, buying cloth,
thinking about Friday night,
so little to worry
about, our biggest worries
now seem insignificant, crushes
that we thought would just kill
us? rumors that embarrassed us famous,
where's the time going
my beautiful friends?
remember going out to our spot,
we'd drink beer, laugh, make out,
the future was tomorrow night's
party, next week's concert,
we gotta stay young now, promise me,
don't let old father time take us too far
from our selves, we're as young as
we feel and I must say I feel good,
top down, music up, let's get together
for wine, laughs, wisdom celebrating our
life, New York, Chicago, France, the
celebration is just getting better,
promise me, don't let old father time
