Seashore
Seashore
Beside the seashore
he waits for his loved ones
in the city that never sleeps
the lighthouse shines down
as he wants patiently
for a love he had to let go
for a family he left behind
no sense of time found here
it's beautiful....it's timeless
it's eternity
so he snaps out of his dreams
confused by the scene
as he sees all the people
he was waiting for
and he mumbles but they don't understand
I want to see you
by the seashore
today is the hospital tubes
tomorrow could be
the waves he longs to catch
so dream tonight
I will be there too
don't look back
the sun is coming
in the city that never sleeps
it's awakening in you
so I am flying out
before you know it
I am there too
sleep in those dreams
as I hold you
the other side is more appealing
may the warmth of sweet jazz
sooth you as you are listening
the music is getting louder
the voices are getting lower
one kiss goodbye
and he is walking by the seashore.....
