This Moment Is All We Have
We each are just one piece
of God's puzzle
that He has in store
Our life is what He has
itched inside of us,
to our core
We have all gone through
pain and suffering, or still do,
that hurts, so bad
But the moment He touch's us
our eyes are opened
and we do become glad
The time arrives
when we get to see
all our questions unfold
All the struggles, suddenly,
seems unimportant,
we feel inside, less cold
Moment by moment through
this present darkness
we get to see glimmers of hope
On this journey those glimmers
are the light He sends
that helps us to cope
Nothing can touch our life, those experiences
we go through, that He did not
have first hand knowledge of
He knows this pain
will be used for another
to show each one we come across, His love
This present darkness we
struggle in, to be free from,
we feel so confined in
Is like our prison we want to escape,
to be free from, and just look back
to this place we have been
The moment will arrive
in your journey, that you
so desperately seek
Suddenly, it will be on the scene,
those glimmers of hope
is your peek
Into what He has in store for us
down the road, those things
you will accomplish just for Him
Right this moment, all we can see is,
hurry up and do it Lord as we look
through eyes that are dim
In the meanwhile, on our journey
until we are released
from this place
Enjoy your time here
and rest with His peace,
keeping your eyes on His face
This place of uncertainty,
we find ourselves in,
seems as if it will never end
But it will, He brings
messengers across our path
to tell us, those He does send
Keep your eyes and ears open
at all times, to see what
wonderful things He does do
It is this moment in time,
this moment is all we have
as God loves each person through you
