The Spirit of the Forest
Deep within the shady glade
amongst the twigs and branches
so still it seems, or is it?
Maybe it's enchanted.
Amongst the leafy undergrowth
there is an active force
spirits, sprites and faeries too
All hidden there of course.
In this very secret realm
its maker is its nature
has been like this since time began
The wish here of its maker.
Next time you look at a tree
Look deep within the bark
There you'll see its very soul
Its life, back to the start.
Nature is alive and active
waiting to be found
study well, don't walk on by
its beauty will astound.
Join his secret happy place
you'll be pleased you do
magic waits to welcome there
To please and fascinate you.
Imps and elves and faeries
Another world you'll know
here lies mother nature
Here is her biggest show.
