Over the years he was pushed and shoved
his words they fell unheard
this was him, this was the man
although to some absurd.
How many times had he longed to say?
how hurt, how in pain he were
from childhood, he stayed silent
as nobody ever heard.
Across the years, his discontent
grew and grew inside
a giant man, not a timid soul
then why did he need to hide.
He did so out of practice
from a tiny silent child
he found it easy to hide inside
when all around went wild.
He got up much needed courage
he said what he wanted to say
he hoped that they would listen
but it had to be in another way.
He came, and faced the world face on
I am me, I want your respect
others they laughed, yet they wondered
this is not what they did expect.
Out for his childhood he did emerge
from child to man he grew
I am coming world, so listen now
It's me you're talking too.
This is a true story of success based on a good friend of mine, this shows that it can be done and I applaud his efforts and how he turned his life around so much.
