Where Peaceful Poetry Flow

Email Poem | Today's Poetry

 Walk  With Me
Walk with me, and first become my friend,
I want you in my life, and I want pretend.
I want you to walk with me on a moonlit beach,
I am willing to learn, are you willing to teach?

Walk with me, where peaceful waters flow,
Take my hand, and hopefully love will grow.
Walk with me, and let's hope for a better tomorrow,
And leave behind lost loves and sorrow.

Walk with me, as the day begin,
Let us enjoy life, like it has no end.
And as the moonlight cast its lovely glow,
We will travel places only we will know.

Walk with me and hold my hand,
And walk bare feet along the sand.
I will be your woman, will you be my man?
If this is not what you want I will understand.

Walk with me and never again feel alone,
And in my heart you will find your home.
I will share with you my inner thoughts,
I know that love is earned and not brought.

I will lay my head upon your chest,
And you will lay your head upon my breast.
Walk with me in the early morning dew,
And learn things that we never knew.

Walk with me into the future and forget the past,
I was not your first love, but hopefully I am your last.
I will give you the best of me, and with all sincerity,
Just take my hand and "Walk With Me"
