~Christmas at Memory Lawn~Christmas at Memory Lawn This is the one day of the year When everyone comes to visit People stroll among the festive displays Trees, garland, tinsel, adorn every house In the baby area, balloons, teddy bears wrapped gifts galore are placed Everywhere as far as the eye can see The scene denotes happiness, joy I place your pretty tree, decorate light candles, put your picture I wonder how you look now You are such a handsome young man As I sit and watch all the Christmas activity The laughing, as a story is told A prayer for each to behold I notice one familiar thing When it is time to leave Each visitor wishes for their loved ones Happiness Each person, holds the dream You will meet again In another place and time As so many, many tears slid down faces Walking away We all wish you A Very Merry Christmas Rest in Peace at your home in Memory Lawn Merry Christmas Joey Love Mom and family We all miss you so much LynneŠ2006 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
