Petes Poetry

Chocolate and sherbert (Jaquie)

She's sweet and dark as she touches my lips.
Sending tingly fizzy bubbles down my spine.
forget salt and vinegar chips,
She's got me by the salted nuts of mine.

I lust for junk food.
But she's never in the mood.

She looks so delicious.
I want to eat her outside and in
I'm not religious
but I know gluttony is a sin.

Her minty green eyes
are fixed like glue
a bitter disguise
She will spit out and chew.

chocolate and sherbet is what I think.
so sweet it makes me sick.
sometimes we have a fizzy drink
but she never sucks on my candy stick.

but I can only see the sweetness.
and you know lollies are my weakness.

Pete.
