It's almost an impossible task
In this day and age~
To remain so true to thyne own self
As life turns yet another page~
So strong a heart and soul needs to be
To not except the wrongs that appear~
And carry on true to thyne own self
For love and good and all things dear~
When not a lot you have known in life
Will completely understand your being so~
Those close to you and past loves once true
Will ever about you everything come to know~
But still to stand for the right and the good
And how you within must walk your own way~
A being of being true to thyne own self
As you travel from day to day~
If with old values deep you climb lifes mountains steep
And never cease to be~
True to thyne own self all along
Being your deepest inner destiny~
