A Guiding StarStar shining so bright, That I am seeing tonight; Far up above in the sky, Hovering there so high. It seems to be telling me, That I need for to go see; Birth of a newborn King, As angels began to sing. Glory to God on the birth, Of the One to reign on earth; For He is the Anointed One, And is the Christ His only Son. The star is a sign for to guide, Finding where He is to abide; In a stable to be laying there, With swaddling cloths to wear. Go in peace as the star leads, Abiding as the Scripture reads; For the time comes in jubilation, That brings you a new salvation.
