They are like leaves of
yellow, red and orange,
fluttering slowly to the ground
on a cool, crisp autumn day.
They are swirling ripples
upon a placid lake
in the warm sunshine of spring.
They are like the snow
falling softly to the ground
on a cold winter's day,
and shimmering like the sun
upon the oceans waves.
