 Notes Touching the Heart
You received a special note from a friend.
The words were meaningful to the very end.
Tears of joy freely flowed down your face.
You were reminded of God's matchless grace.

It touched your heart to know they really care.
It was just a glimpse that God is everywhere.
That someone would take time out of their day.
It is more powerful than words could ever say.

Words spoken may slip away from your mind.
But a written word is unique, one of a kind.
It is a note that will keep on blessing you,
Every time you read it all the way through.

War affects all of us, no matter who we are.
Our servicemen need our support near or far.
They long for mail from the world all around.
They need uplifting words when they are down.

Maybe there is someone you have meant to write.
They could use your comforting words of insight.
It is not the gift, but the journey along the way.
You can make a difference in their life today.
