As we wonder through this life we live;
We laugh, and hurt and pain and cry;
Because of things both said and done,
And we can't find the reasons why.
But the answers are never always there,
Sometimes things are just meant to be;
And hurting and guilt are a part of life;
As all of us will surely see!
And hurt and pain follow us;
Through every stage of life that we live;
But of course, we have to let the past go,
And bask in the love we have to give.
Look to your past, the pain and the tears;
And leave them all behind as you should;
Put a smile in your heart; lighten your step,
Make your life better; as only know you could!!
For life is all about a journey you know,
And as stages come and go…
We deal with the issues in hand;
As only we can ever really know!
To punish ourselves isn't Gods will;
For didn't He tell us true;
That if we truly repent and mean it;
He will give forgiveness to me and you?
And though no-one wants to hurt another;
Through life as we trundle through…
Things happen and sadness comes to pass;
Just as, of course, as it will do!
And we should never judge ourselves!
For that is purely up to God and God alone;
So lighten your step and move forward;
And finally you will have come home!
And bask in the knowledge that God is as true;
And as good and as powerful as He can be!
And remember that only He can do the judging!
And it's not for us to take that away from He!
You have to leave the past in the past;
And move forward into the light,
And then and only then-
Will you leave behind the dark of night!
