Alone, I Live The Moment
Alone with only gentle thoughts,
Swirling, passing through,
Alone, yet never lonely,
I made my peace with you,
Alone, I sacrifice my pain,
My faith; my trust; restore,
Beloved am I, within your heart,
In love, for ever more,
Alone with bitter sky of grey,
Your sunlight filters in,
I'm warmed by tender teardrops,
And love held deep within,
Another wave of longing,
Will keep aflame the fire,
Alone, I live the moment,
I held my heart's desire.
