A Loving God
As I kneel to start in prayer,
Unto my Father for to share;
I think of all things on earth,
The Creator has given birth.
As well as beings in Heaven,
For the life that He has given;
In having created one and all,
To give life both big and small.
God is terrific and marvelous,
Oh how gracious and glorious;
And after all that He has done,
To give His only begotten Son.
I pray everyone will understand,
Giving us air and water and land;
Everything that we need to live,
And yet still willing to forgive.
Because of His deep rooted love,
In mercy and compassion thereof;
That is too high or long or deep,
Never running out for us to reap.
