Gob-Stoppers Are Gud!!
They are you know, they're gud,
These gob-stoppers that they sell,
Cos all the kids love chewing gum,
But we dare not ever tell…
Tell our mothers we have it,
Cos we get told off you see,
For sticking it under the table top,
While we eat our tea!
And sometimes we forget its there,
And up we go to bed,
But then when we remember…
Cor flippin' ‘eck, we're gona be dead!!
So next morning at the breakfast table,
We have to be real quick,
And get the chewy from under the table,
Cos we'd feel really sick!!!
Cos if our mum's found out,
Our gob-stoppers were under the table,
She would do her nut on us,
And trust me, she is able!
Cos she can't half run fast,
And leggs it after us all the time,
If we do something naughty,
And she'd not feeling fine!
So we must remember every night,
As we eat our tea…
Not to forget our chewy!
Or mum would be mad at us you see!
