Conception of His Word
In quiet prayer I claim the love,
That has showered from above;
And even though it is a mystery,
In coming about through history.
For God has shared what we seek,
And made up my mind to speak;
On the Father who suffered loss,
When Jesus was nailed to the cross.
I was weak and trembled with fear,
This form of punishment so severe;
But knowing that God had a plan,
Was being in play since time began.
But as our faith and trust matures,
The Bible will open up new doors;
For opening up our eyes for to see,
What truly in store for you and me.
What no eye has seen or ear heard,
What God has prepared in His Word;
Beyond the realms of our wisdom,
Grasping all about His Kingdom.
