Specials
Where are all the specials gone?
there used to be so many
special nights full of romance
now there isn't any.
The special times like holidays
so exciting times were they
now they are no longer
each day is like any other day.
Where are all the special looks
you used to send my way
now you hardly notice
if I am there at the end of the day.
Nothings special anymore
specials just a word
it used to be so precious
but now it's never heard.
Oh how I miss the special times
the memories linger on
until some thing reminds me
like a photo, a place or a song.
Maybe only I can now
make things special again for me
I hope I can recreate thoe times
as so great they used to be.
