Light Divine
Time to wake up and shine,
The dawning of a new day;
Give glory to the Divine,
His radiance shows the way.
Being covered in darkness,
To be shrouded by the night;
Making people feel hopeless,
For being without His light.
Minds are rooted to the earth,
As darkness continues to thrive;
For their lust only sees the worth,
That the greed has for to drive.
But His glory shines on you,
Causing your spirit to glow;
As to help guide you through,
Wherever you may have to go.
So open your eyes look around,
See the people aimlessly wander;
Swelling of pride as hearts pound,
For it is not God that they ponder.
