GOOD NIGHT

I bet you said good night
To her, the one you live with
While me, I know I'm right
As my brain you pith

You think I'm a brain-dead frog
With a heart that feeds a body
Well, if so, you're as a hog
And living there is shoddy

You turn me down
For my son's wedding
Be homeward bound
I'm betting

The things important to me
You don't want to do
Remember that I am free
When there's no good night for you.
