PROJECTILE VOMITING

Ever been thrown up on
Seen someone drink kidney's waste
Ever seen the last breath gone
With fixed pupils on a face

Ever held a hand
Or squeezed a shoulder gently
Ever been there to understand
We all die when we're older

Ever seen a ball and socket joint
Had to clean and pack a hip to the bone
Ever prayed to God that he would
Annoint that spirit heading home

Ever had to think as fast as can be
Pull together all your knowledge
Ever want to see life differently
Become a nurse after college

Ever gave someone hope
Looking in their eyes
Ever prayed a lot to cope
Want those things no money buys

Ever think of being a nurse
With determination you can
Ever wonder why a job's a curse
Then pick one where you live your life's plan.
