Yes He's the friend that I love and adore,
Who carries me high when I can take no more!
He is the one friend who throughout my life,
Has stayed by my side, through all of my strife!
And when I get angry and mad, as I do;
It's always Him that I hurt, in truth, that's true!
No matter what happens or what comes my way,
I need that friend with me, till the end of my day!
For if I cause Him upset, and cause Him hurt,
That's very wrong of me, and oft, I do blurt!
And that worries me so, in case He runs away!
Because I need Him in my life, till my last waking day!
For to lose Him from my life, oh woe is me;
I would simply give up; I need my God you see!
I can't go on without Him, for I tell you true!
It would break my heart and leave me blue!
So I have to stay focused, and as strong as I can!
For I can't let Him down, my God's my number 1 fan!
So tell me I'm a moaner, I'm a crier and tell me I'm bad…
But don't leave my life; for that would make me so sad!
My friend, my family, my carer and my God so true;
Please always lead me and guide me in all I do!
