Depend on the Lord
We depend on the Lord,
To protect us every day;
As we live in one accord,
Walking on His pathway.
He makes our hearts glad,
Because we put our trust;
For His Word is ironclad,
Always being fair and just.
Mighty armies can not win,
No matter of their strength;
If their ranks laced with sin,
Never to go the full length.
But the Lord watches all,
And those who honor Him;
He will not allow them fall,
Nor let their lives to get dim.
A nation that blesses God,
He will as well do in return;
Giving Him honor and laud,
Our inheritance we will earn.
