Heart Of The Matter
Love Calling
I hear love calling to me,
Its tender kiss sweet on my lips,
Its smile benevolent,
Unconditional
No broken promises,
Nor feelings of regret,
Its warm glow surrounds me,
In love and in light,
And I hear it calling,
Softly,
Silently, in the night.
I hear love calling to me,
Quietly and sincere,
Its voice a gentle caress,
A wistful, whisper in my ear,
I welcome its presence,
In truth, who would not?
Re-awakening a passion,
I somehow forgot.
