I support the troops in Iraq, but I cannot support our Presidents attitude toward the war.

He swore that all would be fine and well
as he stopped to finally take a deep breath.
He promised there would be peace
and proclaimed more troops ensured victory.
My heart and mind screamed, "Liar!"
Some folk are blind and can never really see.
What cost to those who lose their sons?
How long will you try to conceal and hide?
The death toll rises as the words you speak.
Do you not know a fall comes with your pride?
