THIS SOCIETY

Our society
have much
without touch
work all the time
like life's a crime
if there's pleasure
or treasure
to be gained
stay tamed
civilized
not carrying a club anymore
to war
the wheel's been invented
but nature's been dented
and natural acts
are attacked
by this society
because they are too free

Instinct wishes you'd pull my hair
and drag me there
into your cave
to be your woman slave
and she would have to obey
a man would have women in that day
I'd be sweet, a giver
or she could drown me
in the Umatilla River
you could kill a deer
while we gathered food that's near

At night in your cave
both of us sex slaves
trusting in your skill
admiring your will
to keep us both protected
in our eyes reflected
instinctively our man
appreciating all we can
your territory
cave woman Candy and Lori
who would learn to love and get along
why in this society is it considered wrong?
