Angel Feathers
Angel Feathers
You mean
everything to me
my inspiration
to my poetry
and I would give anything
so you always remain happy
and I would sacrifice my being
if it meant you would live
because when I see you
my problems don't matter
all that remains
is beautiful pieces of our family
as long as we are together
so lovely you are
my precious boy
carrier of angel feathers
Your eyes are so wide eyed
everything new
the world so much bigger
on your level
your innocence hasn't been tarnished
all you live for is to play
and you take my frown
and my gift is you
all that I live for
I think of you as my angel
with wings white
and strong feathers
You are crawling to me
after a long hard day
you don't judge
always ready to hug momma
always will be my lil man
time goes so fast
before you blink
another year has past
but my love for you is ageless
my sweet darling
