A Time to Pay
There will be a time,
When all will pay;
For every crime,
That they do today.
And when it comes,
We know not when;
God adds up the sums,
For the final amen.
But all is never lost,
For all of their flaws,
Liability for the cost,
Violation of His laws.
And if they confess,
Admitting to their sin;
Then God will bless,
Cleansing them within.
The Lord shall write,
His laws in their heart;
In giving them insight,
For a brand new start.
