Why is There Evil?
It all started with Eve
She was easily deceived
Satan was full of lies
He appealed to her eyes
She saw it was good to eat
It was the start of her defeat
At the moment she gave in,
That is when it became sin
Adam and Eve tried to flee
But God knows it all, you see
We cannot escape and run away
With sin, there is a price to pay
God had a plan through His Son
The battle over sin has been won
His blood freely shed on the cross
Gives new hope to all who are lost
He is risen! He has been set free!
The tomb is empty for all to see
All who believe have new life
Free from all burdens and strife
