OF Ashen white skin
Running thru the park
On Sunday evening
The sky turning dark
On a park bench she lay
She was whiter than white
Night was absorbing day
Said” She had been Feeding
And watching the birds”
No Idea of why she was bleeding
She looked like she had been snoozing
To me she sobbed uncontrollably
On her neck were 2 gapping holes oozing
They were swollen and red
A vampire bat? Or?
What's wrong with my head?
For emergency care
I called her an ambulance
I returned she was not there
Every now and then
I remember the night and the girl
Of ashen white skin
