Heart Of The Matter
City Streets Of Hell
Decaying city street games,
Graffiti grafted walls,
Shadowed figures lurking,
Another angel falls,
Dealers do their dealing,
Disguised as Mr. Clean,
Devious, disarming,
Untouchable and mean,
Huddled in an alleyway,
Eyes glazed in dead of night,
Another fallen angel,
Oblivious to her plight,
Drug induced and vacant,
There's business to be done,
The price for her protection,
A minder with a gun,
No respite for an angel,
With a heart and soul to sell,
No way out,
No escaping,
The city streets of Hell.
