Come - A Love Sonnet
Oh come, and let me take you to the sea,
And watch the stormy waves crash on the shore,
Lets take our cares and simply set them free,
Regain the happiness we knew before,
Lets catch the wind and hold it in our hand,
Caress it like we would a precious child,
Lets leave our mark in footprints on the sand,
Surrendering white horses, pure and wild,
Lets be at one with sea and shore and sky,
To brace ourselves against approaching storm,
Lets sit awhile and watch it passing by,
And if we're blessed indeed, a rainbow form.
Oh come, and let me take you to my place,
And let me watch the sun rise on your face.
