Daddy's LoveDaughter of mine, precious love So much my heart is yours All the trials of growing up Steadfast my love endures Seldom we saw eye to eye So ponderous your ways I watched you search for yourself Through many troubling days Too soon a woman you grew As time quickly passed by My little girl no longer Upon my shoulders cry Of your life I'm very proud You mean the world to me Thank you for the treasures I've stored to memory Forgive my past aggressions My feeble parent skills The times I challenged the bond Father to daughter feels But most of all forgive me For the times I did not take And hold you close in my arms If only for love's sake Accept these words to your heart And know my love is true As a father I am blessed So much because of you!
