Will You?
You say you'll be there for me-
but will you be there when I am lacking reality?
or when I stand in the rain;
mascara running down my face-
and all I can do is scream?
Will you listen to my dreams?
Will you jump in lakes
when I desperately need to escape;
...will you be there when I can barely breathe?-
or when the world is falling apart around me?
Will you pick me up,day after day,
and keep trying to show me the right way-
after I've been running constantly?!
Will you let me cry-
without asking me why;
...will you know when to put your arms around me?
Will you replace my former addiction-
by keeping me grounded-
will you let me let you?
and if love exsists-
will you let me know if we've found it?
Will you believe in me-
and tell me I am not alone?
...but more importantly-
will you even want to see me-
after haveing read the truth in all of my poems?
Will you want to know the whole story?
If so,
whoever you are-
I love you
already.
