You fooled around; I hurt your soft 'n' tender body*
'Coz you broke my heart and you still keep hurting me
But I don't deserve this - No, I don't deserve this
Because I always tried to give you the best of me
Guess I let you down - But it ain't no fault of mine
With hopes so high, you should've given me more time
Little more than you gave me - But you gave me..
All the best days of my life.

You always knew how to bring out the best in me
You always got only the best that I could give
You chained me up - and gave me sweet love
You set me free - and left me standing lonely
Since you've been gone - It's so hard to hold on

* I didn't really hurt her body but I once grabbed her so tight and she whispered, "Please let me go love.. you're hurting me"
** I'm not encouraging anyone to find solace in weird drinks after every heartbreak. In fact, drinking increases self-pity and hatred towards others and I don't drink alcohol."
