Circle of inspiration-{the advice I didin't take} Jan/07 Don't ever say you "can't",or you will not; Look around at what you have, instead of focusing on what you've lost. Slow down a bit;take baby steps... Don't live in regret;the past is the past. Know when to let go;your memories will still remain... Don't hang on to people so hard; It'll only cause you pain... {and tequila shots cannot bring back,what will never be the same}. Everything happens for a reason; though sometimes we refuse to see; so hang on a little longer- things will work out,eventually. Forgive yourself for your mistakes ...but fix the ones you can- and if it's a little rough- don't be stubborn- let someone give you a hand! Everyone deserves a second chance {you know you would too} so never look down on anyone; you don't know what they've been through. Don't be afraid to cry;we're all allowed to break and there IS a higher power- {aside from Jimmy Page}. You cannot love another,until you love yourself, but don't be afraid to let someone in {you can't always keep your problems on a shelf}. Sometimes it can be difficult to see you are about to fall- don't be afraid to let others show you- they just may be right,afterall. Be careful what you wish for; You just may recieve- something you 'thought'you wanted... {getting the gold is not always what it's cracked up to be}. Believe in yourself- even when no one else believes in you... your dreams are yours-chase them, and don't let anyone try to stop you. Know you are always learning and admit there's always more to see- when someone offers you advice- don't pass up the opportunity. {wisdom is the greatest gift....trust me}. If you're not happy or healthy- desisions are impossible to make- {and tone down on the binge-drinking- more indesiscion, is all that will create} Honesty is always the best way to go- I learned all of this the hard way... and go ahead;you've got permission to say "I told you so!" :} Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
