A small child lives inside of me
I am afraid to let her out
She giggles loudly all day long
Sometimes she evens shouts
Her laughter echoes throught my mind
She whispers in my ear
At bed time she refuse to sleep
She's lived in there for years
I try to take life seriously
As she likes to kid around
I know I'm not to laugh in church
But shes acts just like clown
I always see the funny side
Of Life there is no doubt
People look at me and frown
I wish she'd jump right out
Often I would concieve a plan
So she'd pack up and go
But then she would begin to cry
I feel sorry for her so
It will always be the two of us
She is myself and I
We fit together like a glove
To leave I don't see why
If you see me laughing loud
Or smile behind my hand
She's told me a silent joke
I'm sure you'll understand

Note:
I've always had a sense of humor,
to see life's funny side.On my walk
with God, I find the time to sniff a rose
or stop to chat. Especially after my stroke,
it is very important to me.
