 LOVE'S FOOL
I know where I stand
I will get stronger
He's too lazy too understand
That I want him here longer

I am tired of waiting
For what's not going to happen
Wasting time with the hating
Feel used, alone, and cr*pped on

Now it is stopping
As a woman I'm dropping
Any feelings for Mike
He's too selfish to like

Our love isn't right
If he doesn't want me in his bed at night
To give happiness to me
He just doesn't see

That all that I give
I need some back to live
He's too tired for me
That's okay, I am free

So I'm flying away
Losing you now today
Then I'm losing my job
Because I feel I've been robbed

Of being a good woman
With a man who'll want to be coming
Into dreams with her skin on skin
Marry her and then begin

To be the man she needs
Not one who leaves her alone to plead
For love that she's not going to get
That's why my love for you will quit

I'll keep away from Michael's song
Won't think of you and move along
Close my ears to your voice
I am free, I'm not your choice

No longer your friend
We were nothing beginning to end
I was just a woman to use
Lost in the depth of your baby blues

I know better somehow
Write a letter now
Describe all the pain I feel
Where hurting's all that's real

There's never pleasure
Without lack of it
You find a treasure
Without love in back of it

Sparkling gold your heart it races
Stone cold is what replaces
All the tenderness, loves precious jewel
Never love a man, don't be a fool.
