MERMAID'S MOTION


A pyramid of emotion
Water flowing to the ocean
Is this Pisces mermaid girl
When she rocks the world

Splashing with her tail
Gliding over seas to sail
Right on through the water
As a daughter

Of Ovid or Zeus
Mermaid baby back loose
Is all she's going to see
When she becomes half fish who swims free

Fish and woman
Keeping it coming
Turning it on
Before it's gone

The moment in the mind
Mermaid floating fine
Through the heaven's ocean
Twirling mermaid's wet devotion

It's all apart of the fantasy
That lives in me
Where I can be
Anything I choose in poetry.
