THE NEED
Tired, empty, feeling so worn
His soul battered once lived reborn
Crawls today craving it's need
Nurture the state wanting to feed
Stripped of love, barred from his home
Treasures once had, now all alone
Cry out he does to heal these wounds
The path dark now, destiny his doom
How can it be, blessed yesterday
Fallen from grace where spent were days
Filled of Christ and those he knew
All but Jesus from him withdrew
Yet not alone he stands today
Although he feels and lives dismayed
A change will come to break the chains
That hold him down his strength it drains
Faith will heal what hurts my Friend
A shot, his chance to breathe again
The scent of one who made him whole
The Lord who knows Michael he holds
