Vivid Memory

Vivid Memory

Bottled down
don't let it be my last mistake
I can't help myself out anymore
looks like I showed up too late
and just like ugly imagery
you are my needle
you are my vivid memory

Oh why does it linger?
like every moment feels weighted
if I move to fast...I am cut
if I move to slow....I am just a silent bystander
and what you did can't be undone
can't you see the writing?
the red of my heart is bleeding out
and just like the night you left me cringing
you are my constant sore
you are my vivid memory

stop, stop...don't strike me again
stop, stop...the skin is ripped
and the excuse for school tomorrow is
I fell and slipped.....
