If only the world was smaller

If only the world was smaller
Or if I could walk on water
It would bring me so much closer
To you

If only I was taller
With giant legs I would stride towards her
It would bring me so much closer
To you

If only I had wings I could fly
Across the sea, like a bird in the sky
I'd glide down to your home
And then we would never be alone

If only I was strong enough to move countries
And had the strength of a 1000 Hercules
I'd bend down and whisper in your ear
"See I told you I'd bring us near"

Sadly I am just me
Living in another country
I can't move nations or fly
I'm just a normal regular guy
Who will love you until the day I die
