ambition wasteland...
in the wasteland
of ambition-
peacocks prance-
each one
flashing colour-
each one
fighting chance...
dancing in the mire
falling in the muck-
dashing round
in circles-
searching hard
for luck...
in the wasteland
of ambition-
dreaming dies-
glitter turns
to tarnish-
laughter fades
to sighs...
