Hmmm how do I begin and what to say…
Lingering images and thought-filling feelings,
At times get the best of me,
So much I want to reveal to you but needing to figure it all out.
Something I want to tell you…
Been holding it inside for quite some time,
Anticipating your presence,
Fearful of your reaction to what I have to say,
Not knowing id it will excite you or scare you off,
Do I intimidate you in some way?
I am quite sure that I do…I have been told that before.
My feelings and emotions bottled up,
Slowly leaking and wanting to come out,
Maybe you're not ready for all the wonderful things I have to offer.
There is just something I want to tell you,
Deals with the matters of the heart,
Not sure if your heart is completely healed and ready to receive what my heart wants to give you,
Guess I need to tell you before I lose the nerve,
That something I want to tell you is that I love you.
