 THE INTIMACY OF STRANGERS

belashaktymelissaahowellsboundariesoftime
Poison Me

Open the cover from my eyes
Take that black sheet, covering the lies
I'll die
If you say.
The pictures that compose
my mind are disposable
And clouds form all over me
Take that flee.
No? Yes, stay!
with me, in my station.
You gave me this
You made me exist
The way you fed me
That's what I needed
You're dancing all around me,
to you I bestow.
Gave me the error of you,
you put it into me
And now it's the error of us
The error of our creation
But it's the shape of my mind
You treasure.
The shape of my body
by the sky
And you shaped me by my desire
You cracked me, you broke me
Now I can melt into your skin
and be.
