Paper
A torn paper,
A wasted thought,
Now you'll never know,
If it was good or not.
For paper is thought,
With just a pen,
So don't tear paper,
Ever again.
You might've known next Tuesday,
You might've seen Mars,
You might've lived the future,
Or flown with the stars.
But you tore the paper,
You lost those thoughts,
Those aspirations,
Those dreams that you sought.
You write what you feel,
What you think, what you thought,
You write those fears,
That for so long, you fought.
So let paper live,
Just as thought,
And keep on thinking,
Like you ought.
