Generosity
Be generous and become rich,
Through the Lord is a cinch;
For it is pleasing to His eye,
When donations are not shy.
Being poor is a result of greed,
Desire more than what you need;
Never happy with what you got,
While taking more than you ought.
Generosity has its own reward,
When you abide in the Lord;
Give a cup of water for to earn,
Get two cups of water in return.
Charging too much for your grain,
Chafes God who will stop the rain;
By selling at a price that is fair,
Will show to God that you care.
Try to do what all that is right,
Which pleases God in His sight;
Blessing you increasing wealth,
And ensuring you of good health.
